((Derp title. )) Rosso seethed as she stalked down the corridor. How embarrassing! She'd fled the scene, just like that! How could she call herself a Tsviet if she hadn't stayed and fought that Dragoon til her last breath!? Ugh, it didn't even matter now. The White Mages had patched her up as best they could and wrapped her shoulder and arm in bandages. Unfortunately since she'd been so far away from the palace it caused her to take a bit to get back and therefore made it more difficult for the wound to heal. "Damn that Dragoon!" Rosso snapped as she punched the wall next to her with her unharmed arm. Satisfied with the small crater she had left in to stone she continued on her way. There was little to be done since she had been sent off on her recruiting missions and no one was expecting her back so soon. Time to find something of worth while...

((You didn't have to feel bad for me but I appreciate it nonetheless ;3;))
He was still as a statue, staring out a castle window at the sprawling city below. From his vantage point he could make out almost all the houses in the city, some shoddier than others but... It was always the same, faces obscured by distance. He knew that he shouldn't be trying so intently to find his brother but it was on the silent days like this one that he found himself trying to pick him out from the crowd.
The sting of guilt picked at his very soul as he watched the populace wander the streets. It seemed so long ago that he could talk to Cecil without it seeming strange that he should know his name. Now it would make Cecil look guilty of something. With the status of one of Chaos' 'Ten' Theodore... No. Not Theodore. Not anymore. His name was Golbez now and he would do well to remember it. With the new status he had some control but... He could feel the mistrust of the others. It was obvious that they found it strange that one of their own seemed to appear overnight. Of course none questioned it. Why should they? It was one of Lord Chaos' agents and the god's will itself that had brought him there and Golbez appeared to be completely loyal to Chaos. Looks were deceiving of course...
The sound of a punch echoing quietly down the empty corridor caught his ears, snapping him from his reverie. Glancing sideways towards the origin of the sound, he listened closely as he heard another. Footsteps coming closer and closer.
Staying completely still he waited, an eyebrow raised up in curiosity that was hidden beneath his helmet.

((Aw. xD ))
The clicking of her heels on the floor echoed down the corridor until they stopped abruptly upon her spotting the mage. She chuckled to herself before speaking. "Well, if it isn't the mighty Golbez," Rosso grinned and gave him a slight bow.
She was among the many that didn't trust him and delighted in cutting him down at times. "Still brooding about I see. I don't understand why Chaos keeps you around."

It wasn't a normal day if he didn't come across someone who considered it strange to have him around. Naturally of course, as luck would have it, he was greeted but none other than one of the more sarcastic ones. Was it him in general or was it the magic? He couldn't really be quite sure but much like Garland (even if the man held his tongue), he was sure the blood red woman before him disliked him because he didn't use a weapon. However it still wasn't an excuse; he was just as dangerous and you didn't see him complaining about all the brute force now did you?
Keeping a calm composure, Golbez turned completely to face the madwoman before him. Studying her carefully he said, "That doesn't concern you Rosso and you know that. Or should I be telling Garland that you're questioning Lord Chaos?"

Rosso simply laughed, "Your threats are empty, dear. Go ahead and run off to Lord Garland, and see what happens." Golbez might have been among the Ten, but that didn't mean anything to her. He was still not to be trusted. He had fought for Cosmos afterall.
"Do tell me, Golbez, what is that you search for out that window?" Rosso asked as she examined her brazen claws. It wasn't like she really cared what he was doing, but it gave her something to do. It wasn't like people usually talked to her anyway.

Golbez's history wasn't unknown to the people in the castle. It was those on the outside who were meant to be kept in the dark. "They may not be as empty as you think."
Turning back to the window, Golbez felt the light wind pass as he mulled her question over. "Again I'm going to have to say that it's nothing that concerns you. Why would my pass-times be of any interest to you anyway? Weren't you out on recruitment duty?"
In a way he was happy that she was back early. It meant that she had failed.

"I think it shou-" Rosso froze and tensed from his question. She folded her arms across her chest defiantly looked off with snobbish sneer. "I was on duty...Til I was ambushed..." The woman in red glanced down at her bandaged arm and then off to the side again, her nose in the air.
She cursed herself silently for admitting defeat so quickly. Now Golbez had something to tease her about. However, she'd be sure to make him pay if he did. Rosso the Crimson wasn't about to let anyone patronize her!

"Ambushed by who exactly?" He asked casually, his tone blank. "This should be something worth reporting should it not?" He wasn't sure why he was helping her with this. After all, if she was ambushed it meant someone still thought that there was hope. If that was the case he of all people shouldn't be crushing it but... Sometimes acting had its prices to pay.

Rosso giggled, "A Dragoon. A very cunning one, too..." It wasn't like she'd never heard of a Dragoon before. Not at all. Some even served under Chaos, but this one...was a little different. Something about him angered her. The sort of anger she use to get when she was facing a pawn of Cosmos.
The thought of him enraged her, "I swear if I see that man again I'll yank every last one of his blonde hairs right from his scalp! I'll rip off his arms-" The Tsviet stopped herself and tried to regain her posture. She took a deep breath and exhailed slowly. "I'll be sure to report it, yes. And that little brat nobel, Ventus, too. There is no one who can escape the wrath of Lord Chaos..."

A Dragoon? Wasn't the order under Chaos these days? Golbez frowned beneath his helmet. Well that wasn't what he was expecting. "Well I don't doubt your ability to pull his hair from his head." He said simply, trying not to add to the vivid mental images gained from the war.
The mention of a noble caused him to glance in her direction. "A noble as well?" Golbez looked back towards the city before speaking again. "Times change quickly..."

Rosso nodded. "The little bastard used White Magic on the Dragoon to heal him." She paused for a moment and gave him a dark glace, "Times don't change so quickly as you think. If you're suggesting they're the first of a full blown uprising, then I believe you're wrong, Sir Mage."
She strolled over to the window and stood next to him. Rosso looked up at him and then gestured down at the bustling people below. "You see them? They're animals. Sheep fit for the slaughter. None of them are brave or smart enough to organize something like a Rebellion," she laughed.

"Lord Chaos' takeover seemed a bit quick to me." He said slowly as he watched her approach.
Sheep fit for slaughter? So she thought. Golbez had a bit more faith in the common people than she but he kept quiet about at least that much. Instead he simply glanced at the woman and said, "No matter how foolproof a regime may seem, people musn't underestimate the ingenuity of a complete fool."

She chuckled softly. "I see you still have faith in those who tread in the Light. But do realize you're no longer sided with them. Keep talking like that and His Majesty will be sure to punish you," Rosso replied with a sinister grin on her lips.
"And if you're thinking of your brother will, I can assure you, he's not among these...come to think of it, his corpse is probably still lying someone in a ditch being feasted on by birds," she added with a cackled. Maybe that would wound him enough to teach him to keep his mouth shut about 'underestimating fools.'

He wasn't afraid of Chaos. He knew his place and until the time was right to be who he should be then he would stay in his place as one of the Ten.
Then her words fell on a subject that he had only discussed with himself: his brother. The large man twitched and his clawed gauntlet gripped the sill of the window so tightly the stone cracked beneath. Taking a deep breath he turned to her, cape flaring out dangerously as he did. Staring down at her from behind his iron curtain Golbez glared before addressing the woman. "You seem to think you're privy to information that could hurt me." He spoke slowly, making certain that she would hear every word and every inflection. "But know this woman of red; the person of which you speak may not be among those I almost called fools but that is not because he's dead. It is because he is alive and well. He is no fool and he is not dead. Therefore, I suggest you watch. Your. Tongue."
With his tirade finished he kept still, his breathing even and calm. She wasn't supposed to talk back to him like that!

This was getting exciting. She glared back up at him with a vicious look. "And how do you know? Have you been fraternization with the enemy?....You do realize your brother is sided with the fallen Goddess, right? If you were to be caught speaking with him...." Rosso grinned widely and slide a finger across her throat.
Golbez didn't scare her. He may have been a good 3 feet taller than her and and expert mage, but she still didn't fear for her life around him. She felt that his bark was much worse than his bite. Not to mention, if he wasn't careful for his actions he might be seen as a traitor, or so was her thinking.
